Students who wish to become credentialed as public school teachers in physical education or as adapted physical education specialists should select the Bachelor of Science with Concentration in Physical Education program. Students must work closely with an adviser to fulfill the requirements of the Subject Matter Program. They should also contact the College of Education Student Services Office regarding teaching credential information. By completing 5 Adapted Physical Education courses, along with the Subject Matter Credential in Physical Education, a Specialist Credential in Adapted Physical Education can be achieved.
